I was awaken between 2-3am by a voice that said “Hey”. Literally right next to my ear. Sounded like a males voice, but it wasn’t stern or deep. What could this mean?

These are evil spirits bothering you in your sleep and as you awake in a semi lucid state the dreams you were having are intermingling with your awakened state so that remnant’s of the communication that was likely going on all night has leaked over into your waking state.
